About Your Hosts
Your hosts Joan and Terry have lived in Okaihau area for the last sixteen years, prior to that they lived in Kaikohe. The other member of their family is a very friendly five-year-old Staffy dog called Gus, partial also to greeting visitors.
Inquire- Joan is formally a Taranaki-ite, and Terry a far Far Northerner. Both well known locally and know the local history as well.

Cycle Trail
The Twin Coast Cycle Trail (Okaihau to Horeke) passes by the top of our driveway making Pigeons Rest a perfect place to stay before / after or in the middle of one of the amazing cycle trails in this beautiful area.
